On my annual quest to see as many holiday decorations as I can at Walt Disney World, discount viagra my next stop is Epcot. This park, to me, offers the widest range of holiday celebrations and the most variety. Whether you celebrate the Bethlehem Christmas Story, Hanukkah or Kwanzaa, it’s here.
Great musical performances are always taking place at Fountain Stage this time of year, and over in World Showcase at the American Gardens Theater is the ever-popular Candlelight Processional.
It’s so magical sitting at the American Gardens Theater under the stars with a balmy breeze from the water…ahhh, one of my favorite spots. Then add the inspiring music of a 50-piece orchestra and mass choir performing with a celebrity narrator telling the story of Christmas. It’s a beautiful program and a great tradition to add to holiday celebrations.
And speaking of traditions, each country in World Showcase shares their own holiday stories. (I’ve learned much more about the world at World Showcase than I ever did in school!)
I think the dancers and mariachis in Mexico are the most colorful of the country celebrations. Canada presents their holiday traditions with a musical exploration across the Great White North. A must see is the Chinese Lion Dance for good fortune and happiness!
And, there are many other countries to explore – catch Père Noël in France, Helga in Germany, Father Christmas in the UK…and oh, Mr. and Mrs. Santa at the American Adventures. You see why I said Epcot offers the most variety when it comes to the Holiday Celebrations.
In true Disney holiday tradition a perfect Disney day must be ended the perfect Disney way… with holiday fireworks, of course!
Joyeux Noel, Buone Feste Natalizie, and Feliz Navidad!
